Policy 7.15: Accessible Parking

1. Purpose

Harrow Valley provides accessible parking close to building entrances for anyone who needs it.

2. Where accessible spaces are

Accessible spaces are in Lots 1, 2, and 4, next to the nearest accessible entrance. Van-accessible spaces with an 8-foot access aisle are in Lots 1 and 4. See the campus map.

3. Who may park in them

Any vehicle showing a state-issued accessible parking permit or license plate may park in any accessible space, at any time. Visitors with a state permit do not need a temporary visitor credential to use an accessible space.

4. Temporary needs

If you have a short-term need, such as an injury, and no state permit, Accessibility Services can issue a temporary campus permit for up to 8 weeks. Call ext. 2475.

5. If the accessible spaces are full

Park in the nearest regular space in any lot and call Campus Safety at ext. 4417. You won't be ticketed.

6. Enforcement

Parking in an accessible space without a permit is the most serious fine in the Schedule of Parking Fines.
