Subject: ACTION REQUIRED: 2027 Benefits Open Enrollment Information

As we approach the end of another productive year, Human Resources would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued dedication to our shared mission. The 2027 plan year brings several exciting updates to our benefits offerings, including enhancements to dental and vision coverage, a new Employee Assistance Program provider, and revised contribution tiers for medical coverage, all of which are described in detail in the attached Benefits Guide (pages 4–31).
Most employees will not need to take any action during open enrollment unless they wish to make changes to their current elections, with the exception of employees currently enrolled in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Dependent Care Account (DCA), whose elections do not carry over and must be actively re-elected each year, and employees enrolled in the Standard PPO, which is being discontinued for 2027. Employees in the Standard PPO who do not select a new plan will be enrolled in the Choice HDHP by default, which may result in a different deductible.
Elections can be made through the Employee Self-Service portal (ESS) under My Benefits > Life Events > Open Enrollment (not under Benefits Summary, which is view-only). Please be aware that you will need your Employee ID and that your session will time out after 20 minutes of inactivity. Please note that the enrollment period closes at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 13, and changes cannot be made after this date except in the event of a qualifying life event.
